Dogs are known to be human’s best animal companion. They have exceptional loyalty and intelligence, which make them ideal for specialized training or simple companionship. But unfortunately, some people cannot get close to such wonderful creatures because they are allergic.

Allergy is still an enigmatic mystery to the medical world. We cannot actually cure an allergy, and what the medicines do is just suppressing the symptoms. Whenever the allergic person gets exposed to the allergens, the symptoms return; and this is what happens with people who are allergic to dogs.

The solutions to dog allergy are many, and one that is popular is choosing the hypoallergenic dog breeds. They are special dog breeds that shed the least. Below is a list of them.

Bichon Frise

Bichon FriseThe Bichon Frise grows hair, which proves that fluffy dog can be hypoallergenic too. With an appearance full of fur and a friendly manner, a Bichon Frise is the best choice to be a companion dog. It can coexist with cats and is affectionate towards kids.

The appearance is not fierce at all, and it has low tendency to bark at strangers, and thus a Bichon Frise is more a companion pet than a watchdog. The dog is also agile. It likes to move around a lot and play.
