Quinn (Can CH Autumngold Laureate Alabama x Ailea Moonstone, 12/04/03) was out of Onyx's second and last litter that was co-bred between myself and Kristy Pedersen of Emerald Valley. I was to have received the second pick puppy from this litter, but as circumstances panned out, all puppies were placed as pets except the single pick puppy Quinn, and Kristy offered to co-own Quinn with me, and handed him over to me when he was 12 weeks old. Many hopes rested on this beautiful young man, as he trained for the conformation ring and was simply allowed to grow up here at Ailea's Place - training, playing hard, and loving well. Quinn could not be better put together, with lovely balance, outline and profile. His headpiece is to die for, literally cleaner than should be physically possible and he possesses an exceptionally sweet eye and has a great loving, outgoing temperament which has proven itself at the shows by giving us an unperturbed, exuberant, eternally happy, non-stop show dog. Quinn's quality is easily evident in not just the images of him here, but also in his puppy pictures which are located on Quinn's Puppy Page.
Quinn was sent to Amatras Shelties in Florida, where he started out on absolutely the best foot possible - winning his UKC championship in one weekend of shows, and in his last show of the weekend taking not just Best Of Breed, but a Group One, and found himself being seriously considered for Best In Show as well! How AWESOME for this young dog in a NEW HOME! We are now patiently waiting Quinn's fresh adult wardrobe before entry into the competitive AKC show rings.
I do thank Kristy Pedersen of Emerald Valley, for so generously sharing Quinn. I also thank Amatras for seeing his promise, taking him in, and so quickly and easily topping off that UKC championship. AWE-SUM! I am and will always be Quinn's and Angel's BIGGEST fan to cheer them on to what we hope will be one great achievement after another. Updates on Quinn will continue to be made here, since he is such an important step in Ailea's future. So when he begins to win his AKC shows, announcements will be made here, as well as on the Amatras site. To visit Quinn on his "official" site, please, please, go to Quinn's page on Amatras site. Ah, our beautiful, sweet boy!
