Buddy
was an exceptional dog and family member. He overcame his disability of
deafness with his extreme sense of being and intelligence. His love for life
was seen in the way he went about his daily routine. He was such a loveable
dog and he loved all he met, especially children. I will miss that love. I will
especially miss the way he bopped around when he got pet. He would get so
excited. You could easily tell how happy he was just by his reaction. I will
even miss his little grumble that he gave the other dogs when they bothered
him too much.
I'll miss our walks in the field
behind the house or
our
walks down the neighbor's long driveway which was next to the heifer
pasture. I guess what I will miss the most is how Buddy would jump on the
bed at night next to my feet. I could always tell he was there. Now all that
is there is an emptiness, a void of what was once there.
Good-bye dear friend. You will
always have a special place in my heart for you.

(This tribute is written just over
a year after the loss of Alisha. She was my husband's heart
dog and full sister to my heart dog Allouette; however, she
took the place of her sister in my heart for her last year
of life.
It was like loosing Allouette again.) |

Lisha Toy you
are missed every day.
Never again have I found another to play 'earthquake' with....
I can again wear jewelry as the "corby effect" is no longer here.
Your love of life and your pushing to the front to be first for
everything is gone.
Though your grandkids still exhibit this trait!
You were the ultimate
show dog and friend to everyone who visited us.
Every Jr. Handler for 5 years pushed to have you as their dog to
show!
You never did anything wrong Alisha Toy.
The 'earthquakes' and
'get 'em' were your trademarks.
Life just isn't the same without you my true friend and joy.
I miss my footwarmer and friend more than you can ever know.
Rest well, my dearest Alisha.
Wait for me with your sister and daughter at the Bridge.
Love,
Gord, Bonnie and Kris

Allouetta you lit up my
life with your happy bark.
You gave love unconditionally to me when I needed you most!
My joy in life and the dog world left the day you left me.
Dying in my arms as the sun set..... I so wanted to follow you......
Your zest for life, balls
and food knew no end.
Poke poke bark, poke poke bark, are gone.
You stayed with me during times of joy and times of hurt.
Traveling with me whenever I left the house.
Car rides were your thing!
Even waited for me to come home from a trip to leave me.
My life was so much more with you by my side.
Forever missed and forever in pain from your loss that has not lessened
through the years.

Ms. Sparks, your joyful
bark has been gone now for three months.
Always first for food and love, gone forever from our lives.
You always had a smile and laugh for us all.
Never once did you have a
bad day until the end.
We love you for being you, and for being Alisha's daughter.
It seems so long since we saw your smiling face.
Rest well, our baby girl.
Wait for us at the Bridge.
Love,

Stud Muffin, oh my little Stud Muffin!
Such an eager man for balls, toys, going for
walks and of course, the girls!
Though you weren't born with us, you certainly
were one of our furkids from the first day.
You taught me boys like girls more than showing!
You taught me howling was part of your line!
You thought every girl that came was yours and
yours alone to court!
And one of the biggest gifts you gave to us
was being Head Door Greeter and Friend to everyone who came to
visit! The absolute biggest gift,
my Stud Muffin, you gave me, was being the tud muffin you were!
We've sons and daughters and grandkids galore
~ many, many champions from you came!
Many, many herding and obedience dogs, too!
We had hoped for your ROMC as a fitting
tribute to such the great dog you were...
but due to unfortunate accidents with some of
your kids... will fall 2 dogs short....
I miss your face washes and your telling off the
boys when they get too close to your girls,
I miss your happy bark telling me to play
ball, I miss your cuddling and lap sitting, in which you excelled,
Most of all I just miss you.
Rest well, my little Stud Muffin, until we meet
again.
Love, Bonnie, Gord and Kris

You were the first being in my life to give me
unconditional love and for that I will never forget you. You were always
there for me through the most difficult times in my life. I will miss
you forever. I will love you forever. I pray to God we do meet again.
For now, I will catch the falling star and promise to never let it fade
away.
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away
Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day.
From "Catch a Falling Star"
Lyrics by Lee Pockriss & Paul Vance
