Silvabodes Lady Princess Porter
"Princess"

February, 1996 - September, 2005

You were our baby girl, the best gift I ever received. You were my faithful companion when my husband died. Always the happy girl so glad to welcome me home. You eagerly accepted our new family with love. We all miss you. We have a new girl now, but you will always be in our hearts, never forgotten.

Judy Porter

"Gidget"

September 5, 1996 - March 27, 2006

This is our Gidget.
We loved her for ten years
as one of our children.
She was so loyal, protective and loving.
We were so honored to have her
as part of our family.
She was a precious soul.
We will miss her dearly.

"Apollo"

January 19, 1990 - July 18, 2006

We have never been touched by the sprit of an animal the way Apollo touched me and my husband. We loved him every day of his life and he multiplied that love in return tenfold.

Dogs are truly a reflection of God's love for us.

In Memory of the sweet soul of Apollo,

Ellen & Doug Michal

"Ryun Bryce"

April 16, 1998 - June 10, 2004

You meant the world to me,
My heart in a sheltie body.
Taken way too early,
And too suddenly.
Your big sweet giving heart
Just couldn't hang on.
I see your face and feel you here with me.
You took my heart with you when you left.
Oh I'd give up every other dog
Just for one more day with you.
I'd not be satisfied with that,
But just one more day, one more day.

Rest well, my sweet boy!
You didn't deserve this
You didn't earn the right to die this way.
You, who never asked why, just did out of love.
You, who would die to save my life.
You, who took my heart when you left me.
There will never be another one like you.
Truly, you were my heart dog.
There was nothing you couldn't do.
The joy in your eyes as you played and loved and worked.

Remember me and wait for me.
I will be there one day
And I will be whole again
With my heart where it should be.
There will never be another you
And life will never be the same
This world is a lot colder
Without you in it.
You were never meant to be a show dog,
You were meant to be oh so much more.
My companion, my protector,
My friend, my heart.

My symphony, my heart's song
My Ryun Bryce, my "little king"
I love you and always will
For you forever hold my heart in your paws.

Lady Dysert
"Lady"

1991 - 2006

We lost our beautiful Lady on February 20, 2006. She had been part of our family for 15 years and brought so much joy into our lives. We miss her terribly. Lady had survived two bouts with cancer, always bouncing back with enthusiasm. She was a beautiful and intelligent dog who loved to chase her "sisters" (our two cats) around the house. Last year she even chased a skunk in the backyard and got "skunked." The vet couldn't believe that a dog her age had so much energy. We lost her to kidney failure and had to say goodbye to her all too soon. We spent the last day with her brushing her and just loving her. I am so thankful for all the wonderful memories and know they will help my heart heal.

Here's to Lady Dysert--my sweet girl dog.

Vista Tocaro, CGC
"Toca"

April 28, 1992 - May 18, 2005

May 18, 2006:

It’s your Bridge Day, Toca!  We pray that you are with your “brothers”, Gizmo & Stormy the cats, and that you are playing, running and chasing your rope the way you used to do.  Kidney failure from a hidden abscess took you so fast!  It was so terribly hard to let you go but we know we did the right thing.  It has been a very long year but it has taken us this long to remember you with good memories instead of a flood of tears.  We buried you in your favorite place in the back yard:  where it’s cool and close to St. Francis.

You taught us so much over your 13 years: to always have joy in the small things in life, courage, loyalty, sweetness, and always unconditional love for everyone (except the squirrels and workmen!)  You were a wonderful friend and playmate for JR and, for us, another son who never grew up or moved away.  Your smile and Sheltie whirls told us “You’re home!!” and “I love you!!” no matter what.  Your silliness grew as you got older and you taught us to play and not take life too seriously.

Rest well, our Toca.  We all send our love and look forward to the day when we’ll all be together again.  Wait for us at the Bridge!

Love,
The Postons -
Kay, Rick, J.R. & "Sister" Cat Bijou
