RanLyn's One Honest Heart
"Reba"
March 16, 2000 - October 22, 2003
With wings of Gold and Silver she
takes flight
Leaving the cares of the world
and the ones who love her behind
On her way to the bridge,
where pain is gone and happiness abounds
She looks back
knowing that she is loved
and helped on her way
She will be waiting for us when we arrive.
Good bye my friend,
my bed buddy,
my show girl and my love.

Mark Four

Our first time in the
ring together, the nervous novice and the beautiful guy went Best of Breed
over 3 pro handlers/big-time sheltie breeders and then added a Group 3 for
icing on the cake. I was on Cloud Nine.
Mark
was the first champion I owned. We started out together as novice
owner/handler and beautiful dog, and worked our way to number 26 in the
country. He sired two champions in very limited use.
#1- CH Confederate's
Enterprise, bred by Don & Diana Rockwell and owned by Luella Thomsen of
Cinder Glo Shelties.
#2- BIS CH Kismet's
Confederate Raider, owned by Dick & Lynn Carter and later sold to Europe.
He also had other
pointed kids and many of his grandkids and great grandkids have finished.

Cinders was my shadow. She chose me and her breeders
were kind enough to allow her to follow me home. Cinders was tragically lost due
to the carelessness of a breeder who allowed her to get loose and be killed
while at her home for breeding. She is greatly missed.

There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

Misty was 9 years old and as
cliché as it sounds, she was the best dog (despite all the barking). I got her
when I was 9 and she was my best friend. She loved my family and me so much, she
was always happy, she was wonderful with kids and was never bad tempered. On
July 12 she had a stroke in the early morning and when my mother found her, she
couldn't move the lower half of her body. We had to make the decision that so
many other people agonize over. Although I know we made the right decision
because Misty wouldn't have wanted to live like that, not being able to run
free, I still wish there was some other way. We all miss her so much, every time
I go into my house for a split second I expect her to be there, with her tail
wagging, eyes twinkling, waiting for me to play with her.
We love you and we miss you!

Tinkerbell Rose

When my family learned of our German
Shepherd's illness in June 1995, I immediately started my search for a
Sheltie. This was a breed my mother had loved for many years. I
went from the AKC to a regional breeder to a local breeder and finally to my
breeder. Everyone told me to be open-minded and not "color-blind."
I was and I picked a gorgeous female blue-merle.
On July 7, 1995, we brought Tinkerbell Rose home. She was a
little scared, but adjusted quickly to her new surroundings.
Affectionately known as "Tink", she was the 'BIG' puppy in the litter, so I
was lucky enough to get her since she was basically not-showable. Tink
quickly chased every squirrel in the Bronx and managed to herd the cats in
the house where they needed to be! Tink had a sweet disposition and loved to
be outside, especially when the snow starting falling. Gosh, how she
loved to catch the snowflakes! Tinkerbell's endearing personality and
loving smile took my breath away. She was very stingy with her kisses,
so you knew she really loved you, when occasionally, she threw one your way!
I lost my beloved angel on
September 14, 2004 after having
surgery for liver cancer. She was nine years old. I enjoyed each
and every day this wonderful canine spent with me and I look forward to the
day when we are reunited at the Rainbow Bridge.
We love and miss you....Theresa & Magic |

To my little angel:
I had to let you go. I didn't want to, but you are not in pain any more. You
are missed very much by your family. Your little sheltie sister (Abby)
misses you the most. We will never forget you.
With all our love,
Mom, Brian and your little sisters (the cats too)
Also please take care of your little cousin Jasmine (August 27,
2001 to May 31, 2004). She was too young to have to go so soon. Your Aunt
Donna would like that very much. |

My Sweet Mikki:
Your 'mommy' misses you so much!
Our time together
was
unfortunately too short
but you made it the best!
Please know
you'll be
in my heart always
and I'll carry our memories
with me forever.
